- Plain yogurt - 100 grams
- Tandoori masala - 2 tablespoons
- Ginger paste - 1 teaspoon
- Garlic paste - 1 teaspoon
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Burger buns - 2
- Lettuce leaves - 2
- Tomato - 1 medium, sliced
- Cucumber - 1 small, sliced
- Red onion - 1 small, sliced
- Fresh coriander leaves - for garnish
Steps
- In a bowl, mix the yogurt, tandoori masala, ginger paste, garlic paste, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper to create the marinade.
- Cut the paneer into thick slices and coat them well with the marinade. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- Heat olive oil in a grill pan over medium heat. Grill the marinated paneer slices for about 3-4 minutes on each side until they have nice grill marks and are heated through.
- While the paneer is grilling, prepare the burger buns by toasting them lightly on a pan or in a toaster.
- Assemble the burgers by placing a grilled paneer slice on the bottom half of each bun, followed by lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and red onion.
- Top with the other half of the bun and garnish with fresh coriander leaves. Serve immediately.
