Ingredients

  • Paneer - 200 grams
  • Plain yogurt - 100 grams
  • Tandoori masala - 2 tablespoons
  • Ginger paste - 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic paste - 1 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Burger buns - 2
  • Lettuce leaves - 2
  • Tomato - 1 medium, sliced
  • Cucumber - 1 small, sliced
  • Red onion - 1 small, sliced
  • Fresh coriander leaves - for garnish

Steps

  1. In a bowl, mix the yogurt, tandoori masala, ginger paste, garlic paste, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper to create the marinade.
  2. Cut the paneer into thick slices and coat them well with the marinade. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Heat olive oil in a grill pan over medium heat. Grill the marinated paneer slices for about 3-4 minutes on each side until they have nice grill marks and are heated through.
  4. While the paneer is grilling, prepare the burger buns by toasting them lightly on a pan or in a toaster.
  5. Assemble the burgers by placing a grilled paneer slice on the bottom half of each bun, followed by lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and red onion.
  6. Top with the other half of the bun and garnish with fresh coriander leaves. Serve immediately.
