Ingredients

  • Paneer - 200 grams
  • Yogurt - 100 grams
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
  • Tandoori masala - 2 tablespoons
  • Red chili powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Garam masala - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Bell pepper - 1 medium, diced
  • Onion - 1 medium, diced
  • Fresh coriander leaves - for garnish

Steps

  1. Cut the paneer into 1-inch cubes and set aside.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine yogurt, lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, tandoori masala, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, and salt to create the marinade.
  3. Add the paneer cubes, diced bell pepper, and onion into the marinade and mix well until everything is evenly coated.
  4. Cover the bowl and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes.
  5. Preheat the grill or oven to a high temperature (about 200°C or 400°F).
  6. Skewer the marinated paneer, bell pepper, and onion alternately onto skewers.
  7. Brush the skewers lightly with oil and place them on the grill or in the oven.
  8. Cook for 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally, until the paneer is golden and slightly charred.
  9. Remove from heat and garnish with fresh coriander leaves before serving.
