Ingredients

  • Lamb chops - 400 grams
  • Plain yogurt - 100 grams
  • Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 tablespoon, grated
  • Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Ground coriander - 1 teaspoon
  • Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Fresh cilantro - for garnish

Steps

  1. In a bowl, mix the yogurt, lemon juice, minced garlic, grated ginger, ground cumin, ground coriander, garam masala, turmeric powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and olive oil to create the marinade.
  2. Add the lamb chops to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or preferably overnight for maximum flavor.
  3. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Remove the lamb chops from the marinade, shaking off excess marinade.
  4. Grill the lamb chops for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until they reach your desired doneness.
  5. Remove from the grill and let the chops rest for a few minutes before serving.
  6. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve with a side of salad or whole grain for a complete meal.
