Ingredients

  • Fish fillets (boneless, skinless) - 300 grams
  • Greek yogurt - 100 grams
  • Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Ginger paste - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
  • Tandoori masala - 2 tablespoons
  • Turmeric powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Red chili powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Fresh coriander leaves (for garnish) - a handful

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine Greek yogurt, lemon juice, ginger paste, garlic paste, tandoori masala, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, salt, and red chili powder to create a marinade.
  2. Cut the fish fillets into bite-sized pieces and add them to the marinade, ensuring each piece is well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  3. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat and brush it lightly with olive oil to prevent sticking.
  4. Thread the marinated fish pieces onto skewers, leaving a little space between each piece for even cooking.
  5. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the fish is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
  6. Remove from the grill and garnish with fresh coriander leaves before serving.
