- Ginger paste - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
- Tandoori masala - 2 tablespoons
- Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Fresh coriander - for garnish
Steps
- In a bowl, combine the yogurt, lemon juice, ginger paste, garlic paste, tandoori masala, ground cumin, paprika, salt, black pepper, and olive oil to create the marinade.
- Place the chicken breasts in the marinade, ensuring they are thoroughly coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, preferably 2 hours for better flavor.
- Preheat your grill or oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Remove the chicken from the marinade and shake off excess. Place the chicken on the grill or a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
- Cook the chicken for about 20-25 minutes, turning halfway through, until the internal temperature reaches 75°C (165°F) and the chicken is nicely charred.
- Once cooked, remove the chicken from the heat and let it rest for 5 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh coriander and serve with lemon wedges and your choice of side.
