Ingredients

  • Sweet potatoes - 400 grams
  • Coconut milk - 100 ml
  • Ghee (clarified butter) - 1 tablespoon
  • Maple syrup - 1 tablespoon
  • Ground cinnamon - 1 teaspoon
  • Cardamom powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - a pinch
  • Chopped nuts (almonds or cashews) - 2 tablespoons

Steps

  1. Peel and chop the sweet potatoes into small cubes.
  2. Place the sweet potato cubes in a pot of boiling water and cook for about 15-20 minutes, or until tender.
  3. Drain the sweet potatoes and return them to the pot.
  4. Add the coconut milk, ghee, maple syrup, ground cinnamon, cardamom powder, and a pinch of salt to the sweet potatoes.
