  • Canned chickpeas - 400 grams

  • Chili powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Garam masala - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon (or to taste)
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Fresh cilantro - for garnish

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Rinse and drain the canned chickpeas thoroughly, then pat them dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, cumin powder, coriander powder, chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Add the dried chickpeas to the bowl and toss them until they are evenly coated with the spice mixture.
  5. Spread the seasoned chickpeas in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, stirring halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.
