- Almond flour - 50 grams
- Egg - 1 large
- Coconut oil - 2 tablespoons
- Ginger paste - 1 teaspoon
- Garlic paste - 1 teaspoon
- Green chili (finely chopped) - 1 small
- Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 teaspoon
- Red chili powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
- Lettuce leaves (for wrapping) - 4 large leaves
- Sliced cucumber - for topping
- Sliced onion - for topping
- Fresh cilantro (chopped) - for garnish
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the fish fillets, ginger paste, garlic paste, green chili, coriander powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and let it marinate for 15 minutes.
- After marination, add the almond flour and the egg to the fish mixture. Mix until the ingredients are well incorporated.
- Heat coconut oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- Form the fish mixture into burger patties (about 2-3 patties per serving) and place them in the skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Once cooked, remove the patties from the skillet and let them drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.
- To assemble the burger, take a lettuce leaf, place a fish patty on it, and top with sliced cucumber, sliced onion, and chopped cilantro. Wrap it up and serve immediately.
