- Almonds - 200 grams
- Ghee - 2 tablespoons
- Cumin seeds - 1 teaspoon
- Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Red chili powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Garlic powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Lemon zest - 1 teaspoon
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a frying pan, heat the ghee over medium heat and add cumin seeds. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder to the pan. Stir well and cook for another minute.
- Remove the pan from heat and add the almonds, mixing until they are well coated with the spice mixture.
- Spread the spiced almonds on a baking sheet in a single layer.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the almonds are golden and fragrant.
- Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly before adding lemon zest. Toss to combine.
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
