Ingredients

  • Smoked salmon - 150 grams
  • Almond flour - 100 grams
  • Egg - 2 large
  • Green onion - 2 stalks, finely chopped
  • Cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Coconut oil - 2 tablespoons (for frying)

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, flake the smoked salmon into small pieces.
  2. Add almond flour, eggs, green onion, cilantro, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, black pepper, and salt to the bowl.
  3. Mix all the ingredients until well combined, forming a sticky mixture.
  4. Heat coconut oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  5. Shape the mixture into small patties, about 5 cm in diameter.
  6. Place the patties in the hot skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Remove the cakes from the skillet and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.
