Ingredients

  • Shrimp - 300 grams, peeled and deveined

  • Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Chili powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Lime juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Cabbage - 1 cup, shredded
  • Cilantro - 1/4 cup, chopped
  • Avocado - 1, sliced
  • Almond flour tortillas - 4
  • Tomato - 1, diced
  • Green chili - 1, finely chopped (optional)

Steps

  1. In a bowl, marinate the shrimp with coconut oil, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, chili powder, salt, black pepper, and lime juice. Let it sit for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add the marinated shrimp. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until the shrimp are pink and cooked through.
  3. Warm the almond flour tortillas in a separate skillet for about 1 minute on each side.
  4. Assemble the tacos by placing a portion of shrimp on each tortilla. Top with shredded cabbage, diced tomato, sliced avocado, cilantro, and green chili if using.
  5. Serve immediately with extra lime wedges on the side.
