- Sev - 100 grams
- Tomatoes - 2 medium, chopped

- Green chilies - 1, finely chopped
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Cumin seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 teaspoon
- Red chili powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Garam masala - 1/4 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
- Add the chopped onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.
- Stir in the grated ginger and chopped green chilies, and cook for another minute.
- Add the chopped tomatoes, salt, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and cook until the tomatoes soften and the oil separates from the mixture.
- Sprinkle garam masala and mix well. Cook for 2 more minutes, then remove from heat.
- In a serving bowl, layer the tomato mixture and top it with crispy sev.
- Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and drizzle lemon juice over the top.
