Ingredients

  • Puri (small crispy rounds) - 12 pieces
  • Sev (crunchy chickpea noodles) - 50 grams
  • Boiled potatoes - 100 grams, diced
  • Chopped onion - 1 small, finely chopped
  • Chopped tomato - 1 small, finely chopped
  • Chopped cucumber - 1 small, finely chopped
  • Fresh coriander leaves - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Chaat masala - 1 teaspoon
  • Cilantro-mint chutney - 2 tablespoons
  • Tamarind chutney - 2 tablespoons
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste

Steps

  1. Prepare all the vegetables by washing, peeling, and chopping them into small pieces.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the diced boiled potatoes, chopped onion, tomato, cucumber, and coriander leaves.
  3. Add chaat masala and salt to the vegetable mixture, and toss well to combine.
  4. On a serving plate, arrange 6 puris per person, keeping them spaced out.
  5. Top each puri with a spoonful of the vegetable mixture.
  6. Drizzle cilantro-mint chutney and tamarind chutney over the topped puris.
  7. Sprinkle sev generously on top of the puris for crunch.
  8. Finish with a squeeze of lemon juice over the assembled puris and serve immediately.
