  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 inch, grated
  • Green chili - 1, finely chopped
  • Fresh coriander leaves - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Red chili powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Skewers - 4 (if using wooden skewers, soak in water for 30 minutes)
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons (for grilling)
  • Naan or paratha - 2 pieces
  • Sliced cucumber - 1/2 cup
  • Sliced onion - 1/2 cup
  • Mint chutney - for serving

Steps

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground meat, chopped onion, minced garlic, grated ginger, green chili, coriander leaves, garam masala, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, salt, lemon juice, and mix well until everything is combined.
  2. Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each portion around a skewer to form a long kebab.
  3. Preheat the grill or a grill pan over medium-high heat and brush it lightly with vegetable oil.
  4. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the kebabs are browned and cooked through.
  5. While the kebabs are cooking, warm the naan or paratha on a separate pan or grill.
  6. Once the kebabs are done, carefully remove them from the skewers and place them on the warm naan or paratha.
  7. Top with sliced cucumber, onion, and a drizzle of mint chutney.
  8. Roll the naan or paratha tightly to enclose the filling and serve immediately.
