- Mustard seeds - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin seeds - 1 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Chili powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Fresh cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
- Sliced cucumbers - 1/2 cup (for garnish)
Steps
- In a skillet, heat coconut oil over medium heat. Add mustard seeds and cumin seeds, sautéing until they begin to pop.
- Add cauliflower rice to the skillet and stir-fry for about 5 minutes until tender. Season with turmeric, chili powder, salt, and black pepper.
- While the cauliflower rice is cooking, drain the canned sardines and gently break them into pieces.
- Once the cauliflower rice is cooked, stir in the sardine pieces and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to combine.
- Remove from heat and add fresh cilantro and lemon juice, stirring well.
- Serve the sardine mixture on individual plates, garnished with sliced cucumbers.
