  • grass-fed beef tallow - 50 grams
  • dried blueberries - 30 grams
  • walnuts - 30 grams
  • sea salt - 1 teaspoon
  • black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • garlic powder - 1/2 teaspoon

Steps

  1. Begin by finely chopping the smoked salmon into small pieces and set aside.
  2. In a small saucepan, gently melt the grass-fed beef tallow over low heat until fully liquid.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped smoked salmon, dried blueberries, walnuts (chopped), sea salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
  4. Pour the melted tallow over the salmon mixture and stir until all ingredients are well combined.
  5. Spread the mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, forming a compact layer about 1 cm thick.
  6. Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes to allow the pemmican to set.
  7. Once set, cut the mixture into bars or squares and store in an airtight container.
