Ingredients
- Salmon fillet - 250 grams, skinless and boneless
- Almond flour - 50 grams
- Cilantro - 2 tablespoons, finely chopped
- Green chili - 1, finely chopped (adjust for spice preference)
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Garlic - 1 clove, minced
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Coconut oil - 2 tablespoons (for frying)
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, finely chop the salmon fillet into small pieces or use a food processor to pulse it until coarsely ground.
- Add almond flour, chopped cilantro, green chili, grated ginger, minced garlic, lemon juice, turmeric powder, cumin powder, salt, and black pepper to the bowl with the salmon.
- Mix all the ingredients together until well combined, being careful not to overwork the mixture.
- Shape the mixture into 4 patties of equal size.
- Heat coconut oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Once the oil is hot, carefully place the patties in the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove the patties from the skillet and let them rest on a paper towel to absorb any excess oil before serving.
