- Rajgira flour - 100 grams
- Jaggery (grated) - 50 grams
- Ghee - 2 tablespoons
- Chopped nuts (almonds and cashews) - 30 grams
- Cardamom powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Water - 2 tablespoons
Steps
- In a pan, heat the ghee on low flame.
- Add the rajgira flour and roast it for about 5-7 minutes until it turns golden brown and aromatic.
- In another small pan, add the grated jaggery and water. Heat until the jaggery dissolves completely to form a syrup.
- Pour the jaggery syrup into the roasted rajgira flour while stirring continuously to combine.
- Add the chopped nuts and cardamom powder, mixing well until the mixture is uniform.
- Remove the mixture from heat and let it cool slightly until it's manageable to handle.
- Grease your hands with a little ghee and shape the mixture into small balls (ladoo).
- Allow the ladoos to cool completely before serving.
