Ingredients

  • Rajgira flour - 100 grams
  • Jaggery (grated) - 50 grams
  • Ghee - 2 tablespoons
  • Chopped nuts (almonds and cashews) - 30 grams
  • Cardamom powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Water - 2 tablespoons

Steps

  1. In a pan, heat the ghee on low flame.
  2. Add the rajgira flour and roast it for about 5-7 minutes until it turns golden brown and aromatic.
  3. In another small pan, add the grated jaggery and water. Heat until the jaggery dissolves completely to form a syrup.
  4. Pour the jaggery syrup into the roasted rajgira flour while stirring continuously to combine.
  5. Add the chopped nuts and cardamom powder, mixing well until the mixture is uniform.
  6. Remove the mixture from heat and let it cool slightly until it's manageable to handle.
  7. Grease your hands with a little ghee and shape the mixture into small balls (ladoo).
  8. Allow the ladoos to cool completely before serving.
