- Ragi flour - 1 cup
- Rice flour - 1/4 cup
- Yogurt - 1/2 cup
- Water - 1/2 cup (adjust as needed)
- Chopped onions - 1/4 cup
- Chopped green chilies - 1-2 (to taste)
- Cumin seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Oil - for cooking
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ragi flour, rice flour, yogurt, and salt. Mix well.
- Gradually add water to the mixture until you achieve a smooth batter of pouring consistency.
- Stir in the chopped onions, green chilies, and cumin seeds. Let the batter rest for 15-20 minutes.
- Heat a non-stick skillet or tawa over medium heat and lightly grease it with oil.
- Pour a ladleful of the batter onto the skillet and spread it in a circular motion to form a thin dosa.
- Drizzle a little oil around the edges and cook until the dosa is golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.
- Flip the dosa and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes on the other side.
- Repeat the process with the remaining batter, greasing the skillet as needed.
- Serve hot with chutney or sambar.
