  • Yogurt - 1/2 cup
  • Water - 1/2 cup (adjust as needed)
  • Chopped onions - 1/4 cup
  • Chopped green chilies - 1-2 (to taste)
  • Cumin seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the ragi flour, rice flour, yogurt, and salt. Mix well.
  2. Gradually add water to the mixture until you achieve a smooth batter of pouring consistency.
  3. Stir in the chopped onions, green chilies, and cumin seeds. Let the batter rest for 15-20 minutes.
  4. Heat a non-stick skillet or tawa over medium heat and lightly grease it with oil.
  5. Pour a ladleful of the batter onto the skillet and spread it in a circular motion to form a thin dosa.
  6. Drizzle a little oil around the edges and cook until the dosa is golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.
  7. Flip the dosa and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes on the other side.
  8. Repeat the process with the remaining batter, greasing the skillet as needed.
  9. Serve hot with chutney or sambar.
