- Rabbit meat - 300 grams, ground
- Onion - 1 medium, finely chopped
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 inch, grated
- Green chili - 1, finely chopped
- Cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
- Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Lettuce leaves - 4 large (for wrapping)
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon (for cooking)
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground rabbit meat, chopped onion, minced garlic, grated ginger, green chili, cilantro, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
- Form the mixture into 2 equal-sized patties.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the rabbit patties and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until they are golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove the patties from the skillet and let them rest for a couple of minutes.
- To serve, place each rabbit patty in a large lettuce leaf, and wrap it up like a burger. You can also add additional toppings like sliced tomatoes or cucumber if desired.
