- Puffed rice - 50 grams
- Roasted chana dal - 30 grams
- Peanuts - 30 grams
- Chopped onion - 1 small (about 50 grams)
- Chopped tomato - 1 medium (about 100 grams)
- Chopped green chili - 1 (adjust to taste)
- Chopped coriander leaves - 2 tablespoons
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Chaat masala - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
- Oil - 1 teaspoon
Steps
- In a pan, heat 1 teaspoon of oil over medium heat. Add the roasted chana dal and peanuts, and roast them for 2-3 minutes until they are slightly golden.
- Add the chopped onion and green chili to the pan and sauté for another 2-3 minutes until the onion becomes translucent.
- Remove the pan from heat and let it cool slightly. In a large mixing bowl, combine the puffed rice, roasted chana dal, and peanuts.
- Add the sautéed onion and green chili mixture to the bowl, along with the chopped tomato and coriander leaves.
- Drizzle lemon juice over the mixture, sprinkle chaat masala and salt to taste, and mix well until all ingredients are combined.
- Serve immediately as a crunchy snack.
