Ingredients

  • Puffed rice - 50 grams
  • Roasted chana dal - 30 grams
  • Peanuts - 30 grams
  • Chopped onion - 1 small (about 50 grams)
  • Chopped tomato - 1 medium (about 100 grams)
  • Chopped green chili - 1 (adjust to taste)
  • Chopped coriander leaves - 2 tablespoons
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Chaat masala - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Oil - 1 teaspoon

Steps

  1. In a pan, heat 1 teaspoon of oil over medium heat. Add the roasted chana dal and peanuts, and roast them for 2-3 minutes until they are slightly golden.
  2. Add the chopped onion and green chili to the pan and sauté for another 2-3 minutes until the onion becomes translucent.
  3. Remove the pan from heat and let it cool slightly. In a large mixing bowl, combine the puffed rice, roasted chana dal, and peanuts.
  4. Add the sautéed onion and green chili mixture to the bowl, along with the chopped tomato and coriander leaves.
  5. Drizzle lemon juice over the mixture, sprinkle chaat masala and salt to taste, and mix well until all ingredients are combined.
  6. Serve immediately as a crunchy snack.
