- Water - 200 ml

- Red chili powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Cumin seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Finely chopped onion - 50 grams
- Finely chopped green bell pepper - 50 grams
- Finely chopped tomato - 50 grams
- Chopped coriander leaves - 2 tablespoons
- Oil for cooking - 2 tablespoons
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the besan, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin seeds, and salt.
- Gradually add water to the dry ingredients, whisking to create a smooth batter.
- Stir in the chopped onion, green bell pepper, tomato, and coriander leaves until well combined.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add 1/2 tablespoon of oil.
- Once the oil is hot, pour a ladleful of the batter onto the skillet, spreading it into a thin, round pancake.
- Cook for about 3-4 minutes on one side, until the edges turn golden brown, then flip and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Repeat the process for the remaining batter, adding more oil as needed.
- Serve hot with green chutney or yogurt for dipping.
