  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Onion (finely chopped) - 1 medium
  • Tomato (pureed) - 100 grams
  • Garlic (minced) - 2 cloves
  • Ginger (grated) - 1 teaspoon
  • Green chili (finely chopped) - 1 small
  • Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Garam masala - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Fresh cilantro (chopped) - 2 tablespoons
  • Mozzarella cheese (grated) - 100 grams

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
  2. In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat, add the chopped onions, and sauté until translucent.
  3. Add the minced garlic, grated ginger, and green chili; cook for another minute until fragrant.
  4. Stir in the pureed tomato, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  5. Add the prawns to the sauce and cook until they turn pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in fresh cilantro.
  6. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness and shape.
  7. Transfer the rolled dough to a baking sheet or pizza stone, and brush the surface lightly with the remaining olive oil.
  8. Spread the prawn masala evenly over the pizza base, leaving a small border around the edges.
  9. Sprinkle grated mozzarella cheese generously over the prawn topping.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
  11. Remove from the oven, allow to cool for a minute, slice, and serve hot.
