Ingredients

  • Prawns (peeled and deveined) - 200 grams
  • Onion (finely chopped) - 1 medium
  • Garlic (minced) - 2 cloves
  • Ginger (grated) - 1 teaspoon
  • Green chili (finely chopped) - 1 small
  • Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Garam masala - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Lime juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Fresh coriander leaves (chopped) - 2 tablespoons
  • Coconut flour - 2 tablespoons
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Lettuce leaves (for wrapping) - 4 large
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the prawns, onion, garlic, ginger, green chili, coriander powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, lime juice, salt, and fresh coriander. Mix well and let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Add coconut flour and the egg to the marinated prawn mixture. Mix until well combined and form into burger patties.
  3. Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they are golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Once cooked, remove the patties from the skillet and place them on a paper towel to absorb excess oil.
  5. To assemble, place each prawn patty on a lettuce leaf, add any desired toppings like sliced tomatoes, cucumbers, or yogurt sauce, and wrap it up like a burger.
