- Yogurt - 2 tablespoons
- Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Red chili powder - 1 teaspoon
- Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Coriander powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves (chopped) - 2 tablespoons
- Skewers (wooden or metal) - 4
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, red chili powder, garam masala, cumin powder, coriander powder, and salt to create a marinade.
- Add the peeled and deveined prawns to the marinade and mix well. Cover and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes.
- Preheat your grill or oven to medium-high heat.
- Soak wooden skewers in water for 10 minutes (if using) to prevent burning.
- Thread the marinated prawns onto the skewers, leaving a little space between each prawn.
- Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the prawns are opaque and slightly charred.
- Once cooked, remove the skewers from the grill and sprinkle with chopped fresh coriander leaves before serving.
