  • Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Vinegar - 2 tablespoons
  • Brown sugar - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Fresh coriander - for garnish

Steps

  1. Heat coconut oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  3. Stir in minced garlic and grated ginger, cooking for an additional 2 minutes.
  4. Add the pureed tomato and cook until the oil separates from the mixture.
  5. Incorporate red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, and salt; cook for 5 minutes.
  6. Add the plant-based prawns to the pan, stirring to coat them in the spice mixture.
  7. Pour in vinegar and sprinkle brown sugar; mix well and let simmer for 10 minutes.
  8. Garnish with fresh coriander before serving.
