Ingredients

  • Pork ribs - 600 grams
  • Maple syrup - 4 tablespoons
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Ginger powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Coriander - 1 teaspoon
  • Turmeric - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 150°C (300°F).
  2. In a bowl, mix maple syrup, olive oil, garlic powder, ginger powder, cumin, coriander, turmeric, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
  3. Place the pork ribs in a baking dish and coat them thoroughly with the marinade. Allow them to marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for better flavor.
  4. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 90 minutes, until the ribs are tender.
  5. Remove the foil and brush the ribs with any remaining marinade. Increase the oven temperature to 200°C (400°F) and bake for an additional 15 minutes, allowing the glaze to caramelize.
  6. Once done, drizzle with lemon juice and let the ribs rest for 5 minutes before serving.
