Ingredients
- Pork ribs - 600 grams
- Maple syrup - 4 tablespoons
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Ginger powder - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Coriander - 1 teaspoon
- Turmeric - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 150°C (300°F).
- In a bowl, mix maple syrup, olive oil, garlic powder, ginger powder, cumin, coriander, turmeric, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
- Place the pork ribs in a baking dish and coat them thoroughly with the marinade. Allow them to marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for better flavor.
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 90 minutes, until the ribs are tender.
- Remove the foil and brush the ribs with any remaining marinade. Increase the oven temperature to 200°C (400°F) and bake for an additional 15 minutes, allowing the glaze to caramelize.
- Once done, drizzle with lemon juice and let the ribs rest for 5 minutes before serving.
