- Yogurt - 100 grams
- Ginger-Garlic Paste - 2 tablespoons
- Turmeric Powder - 1 teaspoon
- Red Chili Powder - 1 tablespoon
- Garam Masala - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin Powder - 1 teaspoon
- Coriander Powder - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Lemon Juice - 1 tablespoon
- Cooking Oil - 2 tablespoons
- Cilantro - 2 tablespoons (chopped) for garnish
- Basmati Rice - 150 grams (for serving)
- Water - 300 ml (for cooking rice)
- Salt - to taste (for rice)
Steps
- In a large bowl, combine yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, cumin powder, coriander powder, salt, lemon juice, and cooking oil to create a marinade.
- Add the pork ribs to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
- Preheat your oven to 150°C (300°F). Place the marinated ribs on a baking tray and cover with aluminum foil.
- Bake the ribs in the preheated oven for 1.5 to 2 hours, until tender.
- While the ribs are baking, rinse the basmati rice under cold water until the water runs clear. In a saucepan, bring 300 ml of water to a boil, add the rice and salt to taste, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes or until the water is absorbed.
- Once the ribs are done, remove them from the oven and let them rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
- Serve the pork ribs hot, garnished with chopped cilantro, alongside the basmati rice and a yogurt dip.
