Ingredients

  • Pork chops - 2 pieces (200g each)
  • Yogurt - 100g
  • Ginger paste - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
  • Turmeric powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
  • Red chili powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Oil - 2 tablespoons (for grilling)
  • Fresh cilantro - for garnish

Steps

  1. In a bowl, mix yogurt, ginger paste, garlic paste, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, red chili powder, lemon juice, and salt to create a marinade.
  2. Coat the pork chops thoroughly with the marinade and let them marinate for at least 15 minutes (or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator for deeper flavor).
  3. Heat oil in a grill pan over medium heat.
  4. Remove the pork chops from the marinade, allowing excess marinade to drip off.
  5. Place the chops on the hot grill pan and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 63°C (145°F).
  6. Once cooked, remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes.
  7. Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
