Ingredients

  • Almond flour - 1 cup
  • Coconut flour - 2 tablespoons

  • Pork shoulder, cooked and shredded - 150 grams
  • Maple syrup - 2 tablespoons
  • Red onion, thinly sliced - 1/2 small
  • Fresh cilantro, chopped - 2 tablespoons
  • Cayenne pepper - 1/4 teaspoon (optional for spice)

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, coconut flour, egg, olive oil, salt, and black pepper to form a dough.
  3. Press the dough into a 10-inch (25 cm) circle on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 10 minutes until lightly golden.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix the shredded pork with maple syrup and cayenne pepper (if using).
  6. Remove the crust from the oven and top it evenly with the pork mixture and sliced red onions.
  7. Return the pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 10-12 minutes until the pork is heated through and the edges of the crust are crispy.
