Ingredients

  • Plain yogurt - 400 grams
  • Milk - 100 ml
  • Pistachios - 50 grams (shelled and unsalted)

  • Cardamom powder - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Ice cubes - 4
  • Saffron threads - a pinch (optional)
  • Rose water - 1 teaspoon (optional)
  • Chopped pistachios - for garnish

Steps

  1. Soak the pistachios in warm water for 30 minutes, then drain and peel them.
  2. In a blender, combine the soaked pistachios, yogurt, milk, honey, cardamom powder, and ice cubes.
  3. Blend until smooth and creamy, adjusting the thickness by adding more milk if desired.
  4. If using, add saffron and rose water, and blend briefly to mix.
  5. Pour the lassi into glasses, garnish with chopped pistachios, and serve immediately.
