  • Greek yogurt - 2 tablespoons
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 tablespoon, grated
  • Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
  • Chili powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Bell pepper - 1, cut into squares
  • Red onion - 1, cut into squares
  • Wooden skewers - 4, soaked in water for 30 minutes

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine Greek yogurt, lemon juice, minced garlic, grated ginger, cumin, coriander, turmeric, garam masala, chili powder, salt, and olive oil to create a marinade.
  2. Add the cubed pheasant breast to the marinade, ensuring each piece is well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes to allow the flavors to infuse.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. While the grill is heating, prepare the skewers by alternating pieces of marinated pheasant, bell pepper, and red onion.
  5. Once the grill is hot, place the skewers on it and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the pheasant is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
  6. Remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
