  • Asafoetida (hing) - a pinch
  • Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Oil - for frying

Steps

  1. Wash the bitter gourd thoroughly and slice it thinly, removing the seeds if desired.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine rice flour, besan, turmeric powder, red chili powder, salt, asafoetida, and cumin powder.
  3. Add the sliced bitter gourd to the bowl and mix well, ensuring each piece is coated with the spice mixture.

  5. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Once hot, carefully add the coated bitter gourd slices in a single layer.
