Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, instant yeast, sugar, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, mix the warm water and milk, then add the melted butter.
- Gradually add the liquid mixture to the dry ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until it is smooth and elastic.
- Place the kneaded dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until it doubles in size.
- Once risen, punch down the dough and divide it into 8 equal portions, rolling each portion into a ball.
- Place the dough balls on a greased baking tray, ensuring they are close together but not touching.
- Cover the tray with a damp cloth and let the dough rise again for about 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit).
- Bake the pav in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until they are golden brown.
- Once baked, brush the top with melted butter and let them cool slightly before serving.
