  • powdered jaggery - 80 grams
  • coconut milk - 100 ml
  • ghee (vegan) - 2 tablespoons
  • cardamom powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • chopped nuts (almonds and pistachios) - 30 grams
  • salt - a pinch

Steps

  1. In a non-stick pan, heat the vegan ghee on medium heat until melted.

  3. Lower the heat and add the powdered jaggery to the roasted flour, mixing well.
  4. Pour in the coconut milk gradually, stirring constantly to avoid lumps, until the mixture thickens and starts to leave the sides of the pan.
  5. Add the cardamom powder and a pinch of salt, mixing until combined.
  6. Remove from heat and let the mixture cool for a few minutes.
  7. Grease a small tray or plate with a bit of vegan ghee and pour the mixture onto it, spreading it evenly.
  8. Sprinkle the chopped nuts on top and gently press them in.
  9. Let it cool completely for about 15 minutes, then cut into square pieces.
  10. Serve at room temperature.
