- Prawns (cleaned and deveined) - 200 grams

- Onion (finely chopped) - 1 medium
- Tomato (chopped) - 1 medium
- Green chili (slit) - 1
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Red chili powder - 1 teaspoon
- Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
- Garam masala - 1/2 teaspoon
- Fresh coriander leaves (chopped) - 2 tablespoons
- Salt - to taste
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- Cook the pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent.
- Add the minced garlic, grated ginger, and slit green chili. Sauté for another 2 minutes until fragrant.
- Stir in the chopped tomato, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Cook until the tomatoes soften and the oil separates, about 5 minutes.
- Add the cleaned prawns to the skillet and cook until they turn pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes.
- Sprinkle garam masala and mix well. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to combine with the prawn mixture.
- Finish with fresh coriander leaves and lemon juice. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to heat through.
- Serve hot, garnished with extra coriander if desired.
