Ingredients

  • Pasta - 200 grams
  • Paneer - 150 grams, cubed
  • Yogurt - 100 grams
  • Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
  • Red chili powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Bell pepper - 1, diced
  • Red onion - 1 small, diced
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Salt - to taste
  • Fresh coriander - for garnish

Steps

  1. In a bowl, mix yogurt, garam masala, red chili powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, lemon juice, and salt to create a marinade.
  2. Add cubed paneer to the marinade and let it sit for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Cook pasta in boiling salted water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  4. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the marinated paneer and sauté until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. In the same pan, add another tablespoon of olive oil and sauté the diced bell pepper and red onion until soft, about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Combine the cooked pasta with the sautéed vegetables and paneer, mixing well to incorporate all flavors. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh coriander.
