Ingredients

  • Pasta (any small shape like fusilli or penne) - 150 grams
  • Pani Puri shells - 8 pieces
  • Chickpeas (cooked) - 100 grams
  • Red onion (finely chopped) - 1 small
  • Coriander leaves (chopped) - 2 tablespoons
  • Mint leaves (finely chopped) - 1 tablespoon
  • Tomato (chopped) - 1 medium
  • Green chili (finely chopped) - 1 small
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Pani Puri masala - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Water - 500 ml

Steps

  1. Boil water in a large pot and add a pinch of salt. Once boiling, add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked chickpeas, chopped red onion, chopped tomato, green chili, coriander leaves, and mint leaves.
  3. Add lemon juice, Pani Puri masala, and salt to the mixture and stir well to combine all ingredients.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, gently fold the cooked pasta into the chickpea mixture, ensuring everything is well mixed.
  5. Drizzle olive oil over the pasta mixture and toss gently to combine.
  6. To serve, carefully break open the top of each Pani Puri shell and fill them with the pasta mixture. Serve immediately and enjoy!
