- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 tablespoon, grated
- Tomato puree - 100 grams
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Red chili powder - 1 teaspoon
- Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
- Fresh coriander - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- Cook the gluten-free pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and allow them to crackle for a few seconds.
- Add the finely chopped onion to the skillet and sauté until golden brown.
- Stir in the minced garlic and grated ginger. Sauté for another minute until fragrant.
- Add the tomato puree, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the oil separates from the mixture.
- Add the cooked gluten-free pasta to the skillet. Toss well to coat the pasta in the sauce, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Remove from heat, stir in the fresh coriander and lemon juice, and serve hot.
