Ingredients

  • Paneer - 400 grams
  • Bell peppers (mixed colors) - 1 cup, diced
  • Red onion - 1 medium, diced
  • Greek yogurt - 1/2 cup
  • Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
  • Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Red chili powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Skewers - 4 (soaked in water if wooden)

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine Greek yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, garam masala, turmeric powder, red chili powder, lemon juice, salt, and olive oil to create a marinade.
  2. Cut the paneer into 1-inch cubes and add them to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Let them marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Preheat a grill pan or an outdoor grill over medium heat.
  4. As the paneer is marinating, prepare the vegetables by cutting the bell peppers and red onion into 1-inch pieces.
  5. Thread the marinated paneer, bell peppers, and red onion alternately onto the soaked skewers.
  6. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until the paneer is golden and slightly charred.
  7. Serve hot with mint chutney and fresh salad on the side.
