Ingredients
- Paneer - 200 grams
- Bell peppers (mixed colors) - 1 cup (about 150 grams, diced)
- Red onion - 1 medium (about 100 grams, diced)
- Greek yogurt - 100 grams
- Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
- Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Red chili powder - 1 teaspoon
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - to taste
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Skewers - 4 (if wooden, soak in water for 30 minutes)
Steps
- In a bowl, mix Greek yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, garam masala, turmeric powder, red chili powder, lemon juice, salt, and olive oil to create the marinade.
- Cut the paneer into 2.5 cm cubes and add them to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Let this sit for at least 15 minutes (or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator for more flavor).
- Preheat your grill or oven to 200°C (392°F).
- While the grill is heating, prepare the skewers by alternating the marinated paneer cubes, bell pepper pieces, and onion pieces until the skewers are filled.
- Place the skewers on the grill or in the oven and cook for about 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally, until the paneer is golden and slightly charred.
- Serve hot with mint chutney or yogurt dip.
