  • Bell peppers (mixed colors) - 100 grams
  • Red onion - 50 grams
  • Cherry tomatoes - 100 grams
  • Cucumber - 100 grams
  • Yogurt - 100 grams
  • Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
  • Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
  • Red chili powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Fresh coriander leaves - for garnish

Steps

  1. Cut the paneer into 2.5 cm cubes and place them in a mixing bowl.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix the yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, garam masala, red chili powder, turmeric powder, lemon juice, olive oil, and salt to create a marinade.
  3. Pour the marinade over the paneer cubes and mix gently to coat all sides. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  4. While the paneer is marinating, chop the bell peppers, red onion, cucumber, and cherry tomatoes into bite-sized pieces.
  5. Preheat the grill or oven to 200°C (400°F).
  6. Thread the marinated paneer cubes onto skewers, alternating with pieces of bell peppers and red onion.
  7. Grill the skewers for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the paneer is golden and slightly charred.
  8. Meanwhile, prepare a fresh salad by combining the chopped cucumber, cherry tomatoes, and remaining bell peppers in a bowl. Drizzle with olive oil, salt, and lemon juice.
  9. Once the paneer tikka is ready, serve it on a platter alongside the fresh salad.
  10. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves before serving.
