  • Whole wheat pizza base - 2 pieces
  • Firm tofu - 200 grams
  • Yogurt (plant-based) - 100 grams
  • Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Red chili powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Bell peppers (mixed colors) - 100 grams, chopped
  • Red onion - 50 grams, sliced
  • Tomato - 1 medium, sliced
  • Cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Vegan mozzarella cheese - 100 grams
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 220°C (428°F).
  2. In a mixing bowl, crumble the firm tofu and add plant-based yogurt, garam masala, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, salt, and lemon juice. Mix well to coat the tofu evenly.
  3. Let the tofu marinate for at least 15 minutes to absorb the flavors.
  4. While the tofu is marinating, prepare the pizza base by spreading a thin layer of olive oil on it.
  5. Spread the marinated tofu evenly over the pizza base, followed by the chopped bell peppers, sliced red onion, and tomato.
  6. Sprinkle the vegan mozzarella cheese generously over the top.
  7. Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese has melted and the edges of the crust are golden brown.
  8. Remove the pizza from the oven and garnish with fresh cilantro before slicing.
