Ingredients
- Paneer - 250 grams
- Yogurt - 100 grams
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Red chili powder - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Bell peppers (mixed colors) - 1 cup, chopped
- Onion - 1 medium, cubed
- Tomato puree - 200 grams
- Cream - 50 grams
- Oil - 2 tablespoons
- Cilantro - for garnish
- Naan - 2 pieces
- Mixed salad (cucumber, tomato, onion) - 1 cup
Steps
- Cut the paneer into cubes and place in a bowl. Add yogurt, lemon juice, garam masala, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, and salt. Mix well and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Thread the marinated paneer, bell peppers, and onion onto skewers.
- Place the skewers on a baking tray and brush with oil. Bake for 15-20 minutes, turning halfway, until the paneer is golden and slightly charred.
- In a pan, heat 1 tablespoon of oil over medium heat. Add the tomato puree and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add the cream to the tomato mixture and let it simmer for another 5 minutes. Adjust salt to taste.
- Carefully remove the skewers from the oven and add the grilled paneer and vegetables to the sauce. Stir gently to coat.
- Serve hot with naan and a side of mixed salad, garnished with fresh cilantro.
