- Paneer - 200 grams
- Yogurt - 100 grams
- Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Red chili powder - 1 teaspoon
- Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Bell pepper (chopped) - 1/2 cup
- Onion (chopped) - 1 medium
- Tomato puree - 200 grams
- Cream - 2 tablespoons
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Salt - to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves - for garnish
Steps
- Cut the paneer into cubes and marinate with yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, lemon juice, and salt. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- Preheat a grill or oven to medium-high heat. Thread the marinated paneer and bell pepper onto skewers.
- Grill the skewers for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until the paneer is golden brown and slightly charred. Remove and set aside.
- In a pan, heat vegetable oil over medium heat and add chopped onions. Sauté until the onions are translucent.
- Add the tomato puree and cook for 5-7 minutes until the oil separates.
- Stir in the grilled paneer and bell peppers, mixing well with the sauce.
- Add cream and adjust salt to taste. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until everything is well combined.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with naan or rice.
