Ingredients

  • Paneer - 200 grams
  • Yogurt - 100 grams
  • Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Red chili powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Bell pepper (chopped) - 1/2 cup
  • Onion (chopped) - 1 medium
  • Tomato puree - 200 grams
  • Cream - 2 tablespoons
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Salt - to taste
  • Fresh coriander leaves - for garnish

Steps

  1. Cut the paneer into cubes and marinate with yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, lemon juice, and salt. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Preheat a grill or oven to medium-high heat. Thread the marinated paneer and bell pepper onto skewers.
  3. Grill the skewers for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until the paneer is golden brown and slightly charred. Remove and set aside.
  4. In a pan, heat vegetable oil over medium heat and add chopped onions. Sauté until the onions are translucent.
  5. Add the tomato puree and cook for 5-7 minutes until the oil separates.
  6. Stir in the grilled paneer and bell peppers, mixing well with the sauce.
  7. Add cream and adjust salt to taste. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until everything is well combined.
  8. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with naan or rice.
