Ingredients
- Paneer - 250 grams
- Onion - 1 medium, finely chopped
- Ginger - 1 inch, grated
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Green chili - 1, finely chopped
- Cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
- Red chili powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Rice flour - 2 tablespoons
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Skewers - 4 (soaked in water for 30 minutes if wooden)
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, crumble the paneer and add the chopped onion, ginger, garlic, green chili, and cilantro.
- Sprinkle in the garam masala, cumin powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well to combine all ingredients.
- Add rice flour and lemon juice to the mixture, and knead until it forms a smooth, moldable dough.
- Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion around a skewer into a cylindrical kebab.
- Preheat a grill or oven to medium-high heat. If using an oven, preheat to 200°C (400°F).
- Once heated, place the kebabs on the grill or in the oven and cook for about 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove from heat and let them rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
