  • Heavy cream - 1/4 cup
  • Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Red chili powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Fresh cilantro - for garnish

Steps

  1. Heat the butter in a pan over medium heat until melted.
  2. Add the chopped onions and sauté until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and grated ginger, cooking for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Add the tomato puree, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally until the oil separates from the mixture.
  5. Reduce the heat to low and mix in the heavy cream, followed by the garam masala, stirring well to combine.
  6. Cut the paneer into cubes and gently add them to the sauce, cooking for another 5 minutes to heat through.
  7. Remove from heat and garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
