Ingredients

  • Paneer - 200 grams
  • Onion - 1 medium, finely chopped
  • Tomato - 1 medium, finely chopped
  • Green chili - 1, finely chopped
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
  • Garlic - 1 teaspoon, minced
  • Turmeric powder - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Red chili powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Garam masala - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Cumin seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Fresh coriander leaves - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Salt - to taste

Steps

  1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add the chopped onions and sauté until they turn translucent.
  2. Add minced garlic, grated ginger, and chopped green chili. Sauté for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Stir in the chopped tomato and cook until soft. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the mixture is well combined.
  4. Crumble the paneer into the pan and mix well with the spices and vegetables. Cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Sprinkle garam masala over the mixture, mix well, and cook for an additional minute.
  6. Remove from heat, garnish with chopped coriander leaves, and serve hot.
