- Paneer - 200 grams
- Onion - 1 medium, finely chopped
- Tomato - 1 medium, finely chopped
- Green chili - 1, finely chopped
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Garlic - 1 teaspoon, minced
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 teaspoon
- Red chili powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Garam masala - 1/2 teaspoon
- Cumin seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
- Oil - 2 tablespoons
- Fresh coriander leaves - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Salt - to taste
Steps
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add the chopped onions and sauté until they turn translucent.
- Add minced garlic, grated ginger, and chopped green chili. Sauté for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Stir in the chopped tomato and cook until soft. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the mixture is well combined.
- Crumble the paneer into the pan and mix well with the spices and vegetables. Cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Sprinkle garam masala over the mixture, mix well, and cook for an additional minute.
- Remove from heat, garnish with chopped coriander leaves, and serve hot.
