  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Garam masala - 1 teaspoon

  • Cream - 100 ml
  • Cheddar cheese - 50 grams, grated
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Breadcrumbs - 2 tablespoons

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a large pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them sizzle.
  3. Add chopped onions, garlic, and ginger; sauté until the onions turn translucent.
  4. Stir in the green chili, turmeric powder, and garam masala, cooking for an additional minute.
  5. Add the fresh spinach and cook until wilted; season with salt and black pepper.
  6. Once the spinach mixture cools slightly, blend it into a smooth paste with a little water if necessary.
  7. In a mixing bowl, combine the spinach paste with cubed paneer and cream; mix well.
  8. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  9. Sprinkle grated cheddar cheese and breadcrumbs on top.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until the top is golden and bubbly.
  11. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
