- Fresh spinach leaves - 150 grams
- Chickpeas (cooked) - 100 grams
- Yogurt (plain) - 100 grams
- Chaat masala - 1 teaspoon
- Roasted cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Green chilies (finely chopped) - 1 small
- Onion (finely chopped) - 1 small
- Tomato (finely chopped) - 1 small
- Fresh coriander leaves (chopped) - 2 tablespoons
- Sev (crispy chickpea noodles) - 30 grams
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
Steps
- Wash and dry the spinach leaves thoroughly, then shallow fry them in a pan with a little oil until crispy. Set aside to cool.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked chickpeas, chopped onion, tomato, green chilies, and fresh coriander.
- Add the plain yogurt, lemon juice, chaat masala, roasted cumin powder, salt, and black pepper to the bowl. Mix well to combine all the ingredients.
- On a serving plate, layer the crispy spinach leaves, followed by the chickpea mixture on top.
- Sprinkle sev over the top for added crunch. Serve immediately.
