Ingredients

  • Fresh spinach leaves - 150 grams
  • Chickpeas (cooked) - 100 grams
  • Yogurt (plain) - 100 grams
  • Chaat masala - 1 teaspoon
  • Roasted cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Green chilies (finely chopped) - 1 small
  • Onion (finely chopped) - 1 small
  • Tomato (finely chopped) - 1 small
  • Fresh coriander leaves (chopped) - 2 tablespoons
  • Sev (crispy chickpea noodles) - 30 grams
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. Wash and dry the spinach leaves thoroughly, then shallow fry them in a pan with a little oil until crispy. Set aside to cool.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked chickpeas, chopped onion, tomato, green chilies, and fresh coriander.
  3. Add the plain yogurt, lemon juice, chaat masala, roasted cumin powder, salt, and black pepper to the bowl. Mix well to combine all the ingredients.
  4. On a serving plate, layer the crispy spinach leaves, followed by the chickpea mixture on top.
  5. Sprinkle sev over the top for added crunch. Serve immediately.
